First email to patients (July)
Subject: Action required – Please update your login details for the BSOL Health App
Important update: From 1st September 2021, patients will only be able to access BSOL Health App features using NHS login details.
Dear patient,
Due to an upcoming upgrade of the BSOL Health App, the way that you currently log in to the App is being phased out, and from 1 September 2021, all patients will need to log in using NHS login details.
There are lots of benefits to accessing the app via NHS login, and we are actively encouraging patients to get set up as soon as possible.
You may already have set up an NHS login to access the NHS App, which will be used as a vaccine passport. If this is the case, please use the same login details to access the BSOL Health App from now on. You’ll also be able to use these details to log in to any other services that show the NHS login button. |
When the BSOL Health App is upgraded over the coming year, you’ll also benefit from:
- The ability to book appointments at your GP practice up to four weeks in the future
- Clearer updates on the status of your medication requests
- Full medical record details including notes taken by your GP during appointments, plus access to any documents added to your record.
How to migrate your account to NHS Login
Simply log in as usual, and click on ‘Register with NHS login’ – the blue button at the top of the screen.
As part of the set-up you’ll need to prove who you are. If you’d like more details on what to expect during the NHS login process you can read more on the NHS Digital website.
If you don’t migrate to NHS login by 1st September, you’ll still be able to sign in and set up your NHS login, but you won’t be able to access app features such as appointment booking.
Best wishes,
The BSOL Health App team
