Position: Marketing Manager

Business Area: Sales, Marketing & Engagement 

Salary: 30-40k (depending on experience)

Reporting to: Managing Director

Location: Birmingham

Main purpose of the role


We are looking for a marketing expert who can help ensure that our products and our company are marketed effectively to our target audience.  We partner with the NHS and wish to support them on marketing our PatientPack to patients and drive engagement. We are also keen to raise awareness of Substrakt Health and the work we are doing in the health sector, both driving sales of our solutions but also increasing our reputation as NHS partners and sector experts.  


Working relationships


  • Working with the executive team to define and own  an overall marketing strategy 
  • Working with the whole team to generate content
  • Work with the product owner and head of delivery to understand new features 
  • Working with the NHS and our clients to understand their marketing challenges


Key responsibilities 


  • Refining and leading the marketing strategy 
  • Managing the design and production of marketing materials 
  • Delivering and evaluating marketing campaigns
  • Content creation 
    • Including supporting and encouraging the wider team to write blog posts and generate content
    • Creating case studies and supporting white papers 
  • Overseeing company presence and sponsorship at events and conferences
    • Identifying and engaging in potential events, conferences and sponsorship opportunities 
    • Helping to secure speaker slots for Managing Director
  • Website content management
  • Social media management
  • Public Relations 
  • Supporting our clients with patient engagement


Essential requirements & knowledge/skills/experience


  • Minimum of 3  years marketing experience, including digital marketing
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven copywriting expertise 
  • Knowledge of the Healthcare sector (non-essential)
